The Covid pandemic has directed all industry sectors towards solutions that ensure antiviral protection. Thus, GreenFiber developed a special product, PRO Health Fiber, offering our partners qualitative and sustainable fiber, to create materials that protect the users’ health.
Firstly, it is a polyester fiber made from 100% recycled PET. Due to modern recycling technologies, the fiber is produced with 50% reduced carbon emissions and low water consumption.
By mass treating the fiber, we obtained a proven efficiency of 99,99% against the SARS-Cov-2 virus (and 99,99% against many more harmful germs). The materials made with this fiber neutralize viruses, preventing their proliferation.
- Solid fiber, between 1.3 – 20 dtex, different colors (semi-dull, optical white two shades, super-white) and colored (natural colors și dope dyed)

The polyester fiber made from 100% recycled PET can successfully replace virgin polyester fibers, and it is a viable solution for a wide range of applications.
